What ethicists talk about when they talk about managed care
Article Abstract:
Six health care ethicists and medical humanists discussed health care reform and human values. Managed care requires rationing but also coordinates care. Outcomes research and controlled clinical trials could provide necessary information about those medical techniques that work and those that do not. It is important for medical ethicists to educate and provide leadership.
