Women's center regains market share
Article Abstract:
Columbia Memorial Hospital Jacksonville (CMHJ) in Florida decided in 1996 that it must determine the medical needs of women in order to remain competitive in the women's services sector, especially in child delivery services. After a market research study, the CMHJ decided to renovate two floors at a cost of $4.5 million and establish a Women's Center which would provide the most advanced maternity care services and also medical/surgical programs for women.
