Fiesta of death

Article Abstract:

The carnival of the Day of the Dead, which takes place in Mexico City, Mexico, at the end of Oct, is a clear indication of how death is accepted as part of life in Mexico. The carnival invites the deceased to join their family for a celebration, and families and friends come together to give thanks for life and share memories. This event has diverse traditional origins, but is now celebrated in a broadly similar way across Mexico.
