Article Abstract:
Karen Thwaite, a senior nurse at Regency Lodge won the 2006 NT Mental Health Award for promoting a holistic approach for mental, as well as physical care that helped in improving the physical well-being of many mental health patients. Karen's efforts were of a great importance in the treatment of the mental patients, as she drew up physical care plans including physical activity and nutrition for all the patients, which helped in their faster recovery.
