Reggie Miller is the all-star guard for the Indiana Pacers basketball club of the NBA. Early in his career he was better known for being the brother of Cheryl, who is widely considered one of the best female players in history. Miller will be a member of the 1996 US Olmpic basketball 'Dream Team.'

Shaquille O'Neal is a popular basketball player on the Orlando Magic team, and his presence has helped the new franchise become popular as well. O'Neal didn't start playing organized basketball until 1986, when he was 14, and attended Louisiana State University for three years.

Sheryl Swoopes led her college team, Texas Tech, to the NCAA championshipo in 1993. She set a new scoring record for men and women during the final game against Ohio State. She developed an aggressive playing style by playing with her brothers as a child.
