Breaking the APS code
Article Abstract:
A series of letters and numbers on the back of prints developed from a Kodak APS camera, which uses magnetic encoding, is difficult to decipher. Some of the codes include 'EL' for exposure length, 'MG' for magnification, 'FF' for flash-fired, and 'BV' for brightness value.

The Kiev 90 is a Hasselblad-size 6-by-4.5 cm format that resembles the Mamiya M645 medium-format camera. It also has a curious yellowish mirror that gives the viewing image a yellow tone. It was manufactured in the Ukraine. Other features are described.
