Can a mini film give major quality?
Article Abstract:
Photographic film technology has improved the quality of 110 cartridge film which has only a 13-by-17mm format. Pictures were taken with a Minolta Autopak 470, which uses cartridge film, and the 35mm Minolta Freedom Escort. The 110 film is more than sufficient for snapshot reproductions.

Ilford's Xippy XP2 revisited
Article Abstract:
Photographers planning to experiment with black and white (b&w) shots are advised to use Ilford Inc.'s XP b&w film. The XP2 is developed in C-41 chemistry and is fine-grained for a 400-speed emulsion.

1000-speed is one grand film for P/Sers!

An ISO film speed of 1000 is recommended for users of point-and-shoot cameras. Films with speeds of 800 to 1000, however, have lesser latitude than 400 films and are more expensive.
