Finland - 75 years of independence
Article Abstract:
Finland declared its independence from Russia in Dec 1917, and it was recognized by the Bolsheviks. Unresolved issues between the Bolsheviks and Finland delayed the creation of the republic until 1919. Several stamps were issued to commemorate the 75th anniversary of independence in 1992-1993.
