Germany increases in 1996 Scott volume 3
Article Abstract:
The third volume of the Scott stamp collector's catalog has hiked values for some postage stamps. One-third of the changes involve stamps issued by Germany. From E Germany alone, there are 300 changes. Changes for several others nations as well as editorial changes to the catalog, are discussed.

1996 Scott Volume 1B Catalog notes price upswing
Article Abstract:
Many value increases in stamps from Kuwait and Hong Kong are found in the Volume 1B Catalog, which features stamps from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific Rim. Some stamps formerly valued as never hinged may now be valued as hinged. Value changes for stamps of various countries are discussed.

1997 Scott volume 1A notes upswing
Article Abstract:
The 1997 Scott catalog has split Vol I into IA and IB. Vol IA covers the US, US possessions, United Nations and British America. The introduction has been expanded to show typical US and British stamps of grades from fine to extremely fine. Value changes for various stamps are discussed.
