Geochemical evidence for the position of the Caples-Torlesse boundary in the Otago Schist, New Zealand
Article Abstract:
An analysis describing the geochemical characteristics of the Otago Schist is presented. Samples of the schist with greywackes and argillites from the Caples-Torlesse formation possess geochemical compositions which indicate its isochemical metamorphism. In addition, the formation's boundary is established for the Late Mesozoic and Cenozoic period's deformation, which follows a sinuous line for the schist's axis.
