San Marino commemorates World Tourism anniversary

The Republic of San Marino issued two sets of stamps on May 5, 1995 commemorating the 20th anniversary of the World Tourism Organization, and the seventh centenary of Santa Croce Basilica in Florence, Italy. The first set has images of the globe, while the second has Christian images.

French stamps honor the works of Audubon
Article Abstract:
Audubon, who was raised in France was honored by that country on Feb 27, 1995, with four stamps based on his bird drawings. The birds depicted on the stamps are the Little Egret, the Band Tail Pigeon, The Common Tern and the Rough-Legged Buzzard. The stamps are described.

New San Marino stamps honor sporting events

San Marino issued four stamps designed by Alberto Rinnaudo that depict three sporting events that will occur in the country in 1995: the Junior Cycling World Championship; Centenary of Volleyball; and Male Speed Skating World Championship; and a champion athlete.
