Hollow wax shell casting
Article Abstract:
A hot liquid wax can be used in designing a hollow wax shell for casting in metal. In comparison with slip casting, the hot liquid wax is poured into a plaster mold instead of liquid clay. The project is completed by casting up in sections, then fusing the objects to make a fine jewelry.
