Ordinary foods, including cabbage, honey, onion, mustard, oats and potato, have therapeutic properties. The benefits from white potato comes from its alkaline content when raw. This relieves joint pains where uric acid buildup is causing problems. Qercetin in onion is an antioxidant and antibiotic.
