All about poison ivy and poison oak
Article Abstract:
Poison ivy and poison oak, which cause a hot, itchy rash on contact, also serve as a protection for animals, while their berries and nectar serve as food for small birds and bees. They are destroyed by pulling out the smaller plants and using weed killers containing only glyphotase for bigger plants, allowing dead plants to decompose on their own.
