The Sierra Madre Occidental of Mexico can be explored by taking the Chihuahua al Pacifico Railroad that runs from Chihuahua City to Los Mochis on the Gulf of California. Situated in this mountain range is Copper Canyon, home of the Tarahumara, one of Mexico's least changed tribes.

Hollywood on the harbor

The waterfront neighborhood of Fells Point in Baltimore has been a favorite site for filmmaking, particularly for movies about homicide and love tragedies. The place was featured in a number of movies, including Diner and Avalon and the TV series, "Homicide: Life on the Streets."
