A Director of Heritage Organics discusses how he successfully built a highly productive 1500 square foot kitchen garden in his Pennsylvania backyard from scratch, out of lawn in a single season. He advises to carefully decide the size of the garden, crops that one needs and are easy to grow, plan a schedule as per the seasons and enjoy a low-maintenance vegetable and flower garden in one's own backyard.
