Mount Vernon, WA, is commemorating the 200th death anniversary of George Washington's death through special tours and exhibits. The salient points of his life are presented by historical figures several times a day. The presentation 'Washington Is No More' recalls the events on Dec 14-18, 1799.

The College of Charleston is the oldest college in South Carolina and the 13th oldest in the US. Founded in 1770, the college has some of the best preserved historic buildings in the south. Free tours of the college are given by student volunteers on weekdays.
