Hiking the hard miles

The most difficult hiking trail in the Appalachian Mountains are found between Wesser and Stecoah Gap. Hikers will have to hike 5,062 ft along a 2/3 mile of elevation to finish the eight-mile trail. Hikers, however, will find beautiful sceneries, wild plants and rare stones along the trail.

Snowmakers are the one providing ski aficionados their most wanted snow slopes. These man behind machine-made snows work overnight to keep skiing fields snowy white using snow-spewing engines. Veteran Joey Cummins heads these snowmakers of the Snowshoe Mountain Range in West Virginia.

The comic strip world of Al Capp, Dogpatch, along with its fictional characters, are recreated in Dogpatch USA, a theme park located in the Ozark Mountains, AR. Attractions include rides and souvenir shops but the comic strip characters are still the stars.
