Article Abstract:
The writer relates her unconventional gypsy-like lifestyle unlike the Southerners who are known for having deep roots that can be traced for generations. Her gypsy family has changed subtly in the passing years after they made a home in Mississippi and have remained there for an unprecedented eight years but still they make it a point to travel together every summer to destinations near and far.
