The toys displayed at the Stidolph Museum of Childhood at Masterton, New Zealand, were inspired by the toys children played before World War II. Founder and curator Diana Stidolph, who started collecting pre-1940 toys in the 1960s, said that she makes sure her collections have historical significance.
