Ruth Duckworth, a modernist sculptor presented her works in clay made in late 1970s at the exhibition held at the Museum of Arts & Design, New York City in January 2005. Some of the Duckworth's contemporaries in sculpture include Jean Arp, Louise Bourgeois, Joseph Beuys, Anthony Caro, and Mario Merz.

The Glass Skin
Article Abstract:
"The Glass Skin", an exhibition of materialist and formalist art, is on exhibit at the Corning Museum of Glass. Works by Bert Frijns of Netherlands and Judy Hill of the United States among others are on display. The glass sculptures depict an intricate sense of touching and joining.
