Cumberland Gap is the area where the states of Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia join. Located at the top of Brush Mountain is the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, which houses the Hensley Settlement. Also worth a visit is The Abraham Lincoln Museum at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.

One reenactment of the Civil War involved hundreds of people dressed in the gray and butternut uniforms of the 44th Georgia Infantry. From Texas to Maryland, these living history presentations allow visitors a chance to relive the life and saga of the proud and brave who fought in the Civil War.
