A private collection of 19th century antique jewelry, mainly from some of the wealthiest families in England, focuses attention on design and fine craftsmanship. Pieces of jewelry made with seed pearls, carved hard stones and diamonds, employing traditional materials, innovative forms and surface treatments are described.
