The Rabid Gardeners' yard sale
Article Abstract:
A gardener describes how a group of gardeners from the Raleigh, NC, area has a yard sale once a year to get rid of extra plants and make room for new ones. This group calls itself The Rabid Gardeners. Leftover plants are either given away or donated to charity.

The mythology garden
Article Abstract:
A gardener describes how the flowers in her garden remind her of ancient myths. Hyacinths, daffodils, peonies, roses and chrysanthemums remind her of different stories. Hyacinths remind her of the betrayal in the story of Hyacinthus, Apollo and Zephyrus.
