Tiling for the Long Haul
Article Abstract:
Installing tile is not glamorous work, but it should be done right. Generally tiling starts by the selection and placement of a cementitious backer board or modified gypsum board on a reasonably flat surface. The tile must be laid on the installed backing board. Care should be taken in this process so that the end result is attractive. Preparation of the area involves setting a baseline, cutting and setting the tile and grouting.
