Top dollar
Article Abstract:
The concept of selling collectibles for 'top dollar' was promulgated by the antique stores of New York, Philadelphia, PA, and Boston, MA, and has no merit in today's market. The value of collectibles is relative and dealers must be prepared to research the value and pay less than top dollar to make a profit themselves.
