AP boosts capacity by 25%
Article Abstract:
Generations by AP Industries has introduced a new finishing line and a second shift, increasing capacity by 25%. The new finishing line called for a 7,000-sq-ft expansion to the finishing facility. The new line works at Generations' more time-intensive glazed finishes and enables simpler finishes to proceed more smoothly on other lines. Gary Bryant, director of sales and marketing, said that it is more logical to dedicate a single line to the finishes that are more time-intensive. The creation of a second shift should aid Generations keep its three-week shipping standard.
