El Ran sets U.S. gallery program

El Ran, a Canadian maker of stationary and motion upholstery, launches its gallery program to US retailers. According to the company's senior vice president, Eric Abecassis, the company already has opened several galleries, including a 3,000-sq-ft gallery with Seigermans in New York City, NY, and a 1,500-sq-ft gallery with Olun's in Binghamton, NY. Fieldings of Grand Rapids, MI, also has two 2,500-sq-ft El Ran galleries. Abecassis said that the company plans to have 100 galleries within the next year or so.
