Picheny to retire from Homemaker
Article Abstract:
Homemaker Inds.' chairman and CEO, Stan Picheny, will retire on Sep. 15, 1998, and will be succeeded as CEO, by Arthur Millman, which currently sits as president of the company. Picheny, who joined the company in 1968 as a salesman, worked with Millman to turn the company into a manufacturer and changed its name to Homemaker. The company distributes its products to mass merchants and discounters, and has begun to sell to new retail channels as its product line expanded. Homemaker is considered as the manufacturer with the biggest production volume of braided rugs.
