Valspar's 4Q earnings jump 26%

Minneapolis based finish supplier Valspar showed a 26% increase in fourth-quarter earnings, with strong performances in all its businesses and its sales in the quarter ended October 28 were up 12.4% from the same period a year earlier to $725.4 million, and net income was $51 million.
