Should you implement a paid time-off plan?
Article Abstract:
Traditional plans for leaves of absence such as vacations, holidays, and sick days have been criticized for being inequitable, lacking in creativity in motivating individuals to join the firm, and biased in favor of management. Paid time-off plans are now being considered by firms as alternatives to traditional ones due to their advantages in terms of flexibility. Such plans also decrease management tasks and allow for better employee participation in managing plans for themselves.
