A note on some recent writings on international relations and organizations
Article Abstract:
It is possible to identify an 'English school' of writers in international relations who have focused on basic issues such as how the world is structured and institutionalized and how the units of the world come to be what they are. Indeed, there are close links between writers including C.A.W Manning, F.S Northedge and Alan James, who mainly wrote in the mid-1970s and mid-1980s. They have influenced more recent writers such as John A. Hall, who is in favour of a mixture of realism and liberalism.

Human wrongs and international relations
Article Abstract:
International relations as an academic discipline has focused on the study of relations between nations since its institutional founding in 1919. However, the various changes in the global environment since that time necessitates a reinvention of the academic discipline. This reinvention should steer international relations from the mere study of inter-state relations to studying the ethical implications of state actions on the international community as a whole.
