Article Abstract:
A report on the efforts of the National Missile Defense (NMD) Program to deploy missile defense systems which will defend the US from attacks by rogue nations is presented. The NMD will initially be tasked with providing protection from the threats presented by few and simple warheads and will evolve to a capability to address more complex threats.
