China debates missile defence
Article Abstract:
Many Chinese experts, supported by technical evaluations of the prospects for ballistic-missile defense (BMD) deployment, conclude that China has an upper hand. Nevertheless, Beijing is cautious of United States' (US) and Japanese intentions and believes that BMD is targeted at China's containment.
