The Son Tay raid: An intelligence paradox
Article Abstract:
The role of Signals Intelligence in the Son Tay raid during the Vietnam War, which was the most daring and courageous rescue attempts in history is illustrated showing how the United States intelligence knew much about enemy capabilities, but failed to ascertain that the prisoners were moved to another camp.

Le Duan, the American war, and the creation of an independent Vietnamese state
Article Abstract:
The role played by Le Duan who was the general secretary of the Vietnamese Community Party from 1960 until his death in 1986 on the war against the United States and other fronts is discussed. He exerted more influence over North Vietnamese domestic and foreign policy.
