The WTO and patenting of life forms: policy options for developing countries
Article Abstract:
It is argued that the capability of the developing countries to protect their plant genetic resources and the right of local communities to control and enjoy the benefits of their traditional knowledge will be determined both by policies adopted by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and by the domestic policies these nations implement within their respective countries.

Globalization studies and the developing world: Making International Political Economy truly global
Article Abstract:
Study is conducted to argue that an International Political Economy (IPE) that is comparative by nature takes into account the multi-variegated nature by which globalization affects the global political economy. Making sense of the contradictory or perhaps mutually reinforcing trajectories and what this implies for a global IPE is central.

Caricom countries and the irrelevance of economic smallness

The correlation of a nations economic smallness with it's economic structure of production is examined and inferred that if small countries like Caricom can gather sufficient knowledge skills, they can have a diversified structure of production.
