Thinking past 'Western' IR?
Article Abstract:
The article illustrates what could be found when one looks beyond the West while engaging in world politics. The example of India's search for nuclear status, Turkey's turn to secularism and Asia's integration into the liberal world suggest that imitation or mimicry of the West which seems similar and yet is different may be a way of engaging in international politics.

Regionalism of migration policies and its limits: Europe and North America compared
Article Abstract:
This article examines the converging migration policies of North America and Europe, using neoliberal restructuring explanations. The author also considers regional differences, exploring the ways in which social forces in regions allow for an account of the terms of migration policies as expressed by the two regions.
