Turkey-Iran relations, 1997-2000: the Kurdish and Islamist questions
Article Abstract:
Kurdish and Islamic questions are raised to address Turkey's relations with Iran. The author argues that the omni-balancing model of international relations is sufficient to explain the bilateral relation between the countries; and that wider geoeconomic, geostrategic and geopolitical interests had a greater influence on relations than more specific, local events.
