Unilateralism in theory and practice

Article Abstract:

Unilateralism is an approach by which nations relate in the international setting, resolve international conflicts and handle relationships with international allies. Its application to international relations involves identification of its potentials and limitations and evaluation of how it can adapt to future problems in the international system. However, it may not be effective when perceived as an absolute freedom of action without consideration of the accompanying responsibilities.

Strategic thinking in an era of intervention: thinking out of a box with no sides

Article Abstract:

Dissolution of conventional boundaries has characterized the world as it emerged from the Cold War era. Migration, information, military presence, and capital are some of the concerns facing national borders. The dissolution of boundaries has promoted a chaos and decline of diplomatic, military and economic power. In addition, information has significantly influenced the strategic cycle through the worlds of finance, security and personal communications.
