Gulf war: the German resistance
Article Abstract:
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder campaigned against Germany's participation in any war with Iraq in 2002, Germany thus becoming the only major European country not participating in the war to disarm Iraq. The limit and possibilities of reunified Germany's willingness to use military force abroad are examined.

Article Abstract:
The International Institutes for Strategic Studies (IISS) published the 'Strategic Dossier' on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. An autonomous assessment of the dossier, which had ultimately resulted in invasion of Iraq, is presented.
