Article Abstract:
Observers criticize the presidential misuse of the Antiquities Act of 1906. For decades, presidents have succumbed to environmental and archeological lobbyists in protecting and reserving vast lands as historic sites. Section 2 of the Act, which gives US presidents the power to preserve such sites, has been repeatedly abused by lobbyists. Congressional approval is allegedly being bypassed in purpose.

Bill Gates' Microsoft currently dominates the US personal computer market that government intervention into marketing practices is timely. The big player Microsoft continues to get bigger because of marketing strategies that eventually eliminates competitors that government intervention into the matter would ensure that the market remains free from monopolies like Bill Gates'.
