NVQs and how to get one
Article Abstract:
Health and safety National and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (NVQs/SVQs) were launched in the UK on June 20, 1995, but their details will not be available until early Aug, with the first centers approved in late Aug and applications accepted by Sept. The new NVQs address occupational health and safety practice, and are at levels 3 and 4, for straightforward and complex risks, respectively. The NVQs will consist of units, each broken down into elements, which contain performance criteria, range statements, and evidence specifications.
