Science and Technology Section looks to future
Article Abstract:
The ABA's Science and Technology Section has five divisions: Aerospace Law, Communications Law, Computer Law, Electronic Data Interchange and Information Technology and Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. The section also has special committees concerning scientific evidence, international competitiveness of US technology and ventures and enterprises. Seeking policies and legislation that help developments in science and technology along is the main goal of the section.

Litigation Section sets new focus
Article Abstract:
The ABA's Litigation Section began 19 years ago and in 1992 has about 70,000 members. Civil and criminal justice reform, reduction of court congestion and delay, discovery limitations, brief trials, changes in civil procedure and evidence rules, and new techniques for case management will be among the topics of interest to the section during the latter part of 1992 and the first half of 1993.

Business Law Section will seek to extend services
Article Abstract:
1992 marks the ABA Section of Business Law's 55th year of existence, and the group will continue its outreach to business lawyers. This ABA section has 81 committees, and the information services they provide are considered authoritative annual reviews of business law developments. The section will also start a new magazine in 1992, 'Business Law Today.'
