Triple split dollar buy-sell: a new funding alternative for corporations
Article Abstract:
Corporations can improve their funding through selective use of triple split buy-sell agreements. The advantages of roll-out split dollar can be combined with that of endorsing the death benefit to shareholders, allowing each investor to own a separate insurance policy, fund the agreement through life insurance, and pay costs with corporate dollars. This strategy allows the insured to control policy cash-value while funding the buy-sell agreement like a cross-purchase plan.

Annuities can be useful when life departs from the "normal" schedule
Article Abstract:
Annuities are becoming popular tools for financial planning as more people lead less typical lives. Parents who have children in their forties, for instance, can use an annuity as a college fund and still avoid the 10 percent penalty tax for early withdrawal. The penalty can also be avoided for people with disabilities, either the owner of the annuity or the owner's child.
