Yes: put it in writing
Article Abstract:
The Model Rules of Professional Conduct should include specific ethical regulations regarding sexual relations with clients. Current regulations on misconduct do not address this matter, while other, perhaps less common, matters are the subjects of specific rules. Codifying proper behavior in this matter would make a statement of the profession's values and give a framework for discipline in cases involving sexual exploitation.

How not to respond to a disciplinary inquiry; eight ways to make a bad situation worse
Article Abstract:
The attorney who has received notice of a disciplinary investigation should never delay responding or commit the additional ethical infraction of trying to persuade the complainant to drop the matter. Article Abstract:
Gary C. Huckaby, Member of the ABA Board of Governors, was convicted of a misdemeanor for neglecting to file a federal income tax return for 1988 on income of $208,481. He had no comment on the matter.
