Competition between vertically integrated networks
Article Abstract:
The results of a project to develop a model of 'downstream' competition between vertically integrated telecommunications networks within a deregulated environment is presented. Special attention is given to how one-way access charges are established in an oligopolistic market.

Network interconnection with competitive transit
Article Abstract:
The two-way access problems between local exchange carriers and third network interexchange carrier and possible methods of network interconnection in telecommunications are discussed. The justification of complete deregulation of access by competitive transit is outlined.
