Article Abstract:

Most federal appellate, district and bankruptcy court indexes can be asserted electronically through a service called Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER). PACER includes information about parties and participants, including judges, attorneys and trustees, a compilation of case information, chronology of case events and claim registry.

Libel claims after Suzuki: costly road ahead?

Article Abstract:

The dispute between Suzuki Motors Corp and Consumers Union are discussed. The case resulted in millions of dollars as legal fees and threatens to increase the overall likelihood of future prolonged libel actions.
