L. Sprague de Camp, 1907-2000
Article Abstract:
Writer Lyon Sprague de Camp died on November 6, 2000, in his home town of Plano, Texas. He was active in a wide range of fields while co-authoring a textbook , contributing to "Astounding' and 'Unknown" magazines, and writing his own award-winning autobiography. He received the Grand Master Nebula Award in honor of his entire outstanding career.

Lester Del Ray, 1915-1993
Article Abstract:
Lester Del Rey died in May, 1993. He wrote many short stories but is best known for his work as an editor for 'Galaxy,' 'If' and 'Analog.' The Science Fiction Writers of America awarded a Grand Master Nebula to Del Rey for his influence on many authors.
