Learning unbound: on-line education and the mind's academy
Article Abstract:
One of the advantages that a computer has is its ability to provide on-line education, a new method of learning used for over a decade now. On-line education, although very advantageous, is not always advisable since it is capable of providing a limited field of study.

Quantum mechanics is viewed by many people including some science fiction writers and some scientists as something out of the ordinary. However, they do not realized that quantum theory is a part of everyday matter and that there is nothing mystifying about it.

The utility of the book as a repository of knowledge and information remains even as the book is given a new format in the technological age. The placement of books online only serves to increase its availability and 'portability'.
