States push new rules for locker rooms
Article Abstract:
Wisconsin, New Jersey and the National Football League (NFL) are attempting to come up with guidelines for reporters who seek access to locker rooms for interviews with players. Incidents where reporters have been harassed or assaulted by players have led to the introduction of legislation to control locker room access in Wisconsin and New Jersey, but neither state has passed such laws. The NFL has developed educational materials to teach players how to deal with the press.
